How it works

Ten minutes. One report. A clear first step.

1

Answer the questions

About your countries, your roles, how pay gets decided today and what's written down. Plain questions, built for founders who don't speak HR.

2

Get your gap report

What's in place, what's missing, and the one thing to fix first. On one page, in plain language.

3

Share it, or talk it through

Forward it to your CEO or leadership team. If you want, book 30 minutes with me and we go through your gaps together.

This is for you if

Pay got decided one hire at a time.

Nobody planned it. Now managers get questions they can't answer, and the same awkward conversation keeps landing on your desk.

  • You run a startup or scale-up in Europe, with no HR team or one person doing HR admin
  • You're the HR person who knows pay needs structure, and needs something in writing to get leadership on board
  • You keep hearing about pay transparency and want to know how far off you are, without a three month project to find out
Your gap report
10 min

That's all it takes to know where you stand on pay. Free, shareable, and yours to keep.

The report shows how ready you are, with strategic HR advice based on Directive (EU) 2023/970 and official national sources.

The EU directive is about equal pay for women and men. It gets there through transparency for everyone: every candidate, every employee, every role. You can only show there's no gap between women and men when your criteria and your pay comparison cover your whole team.

Who built this

Hi, I'm Lotte.

I spent more than a decade in HR, most of it as the strategic HR lead for mainland Europe at an international company. I built the European HR team from just me to a team of 5.

My parents are social workers. My in-laws are business people through and through. I've always sat between those two worlds, and pay is where they collide most.

I built UnmuteMe so companies can put real structure behind pay without a consultancy bill. This check is the first step.

Questions

Before you start

Nothing. The check and the gap report are free. If you want to talk your gaps through, the call is free too.

No. The check asks about structure: roles, levels, how decisions get made and what's written down. Employee pay data stays with you.

It tells you how ready your pay structure is and what to fix first, based on Directive (EU) 2023/970 and the official sources for your country. Every gap links to the article or official page behind it.

Companies anywhere in Europe can take it. The gaps it looks at are the building blocks every pay structure needs.

Know your gaps before someone else points them out.
