Who is responsible

UnmuteMe is a trade name of Papoila Resiliente UNIP LDA, a company registered in Portugal, run by Lotte Hemelsoet. Papoila Resiliente UNIP LDA is responsible for the personal data you share in the Readiness Check. NIF: [NIF needed]. Registered address: [geographic address needed, see note]. What we collect

• Your first name, work email and company name.
• The countries you picked, with the size band of your largest legal entity there.
• Your answers to the check: for each question the answer you chose, plus how many legal entities you have per country, whether pay is set centrally for several entities, and who handles HR.

The check never asks for salaries or any data about employees.

Why, and on what basis

To send you your report and follow-up emails about pay transparency and UnmuteMe. We do this based on your consent, which you give by ticking the box (GDPR, Art. 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw it at any time with the unsubscribe link in every email, or by emailing us.

Who processes it

We store your details and answers in a database hosted by Supabase in the EU (Frankfurt, Germany). We use Kit (kit.com) to send emails. Kit may transfer personal data to the United States. Kit covers this with its Data Processing Addendum and relies on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (Kit GDPR FAQ, Kit DPA). We don't sell or share your data with anyone else.

How long we keep it

Until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. If you don't open or click any of our emails for 24 months, we delete your details. If you ask us to delete your data, we do so within one month (GDPR, Art. 12(3)).

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, to limit or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable format. Email lotte@unmuteme.eu. You can also complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD, cnpd.pt), or to the authority in the EU country where you live or work (GDPR, Art. 77).
